There's something that's been bothering me for some time now: How does one pronounce the name Liesl? I've never seen "The Sound of Music," so if there is, as I suspect, a character with this name in that musical, I might subject myself to it and find out. But that would be torture for me. So I am left guessing:
  • LEASE-ul
  • lee-ES-ul
  • LIZE-ul
  • LEEZ-ul
  • LYLE
These are my best guesses. Can anyone help me?

I know, I know, I'm late. But I think it's LEEZ-ul, based on the fact that in German, when there are two vowels in a row, it's usually the second one that's pronounced (think Dietrich), and that an unstressed "s" usually seems to devolve into a "z". But I'm just guessing here.
